Outdoor Research Firebrand Trigger Finger Mittens
The extremely durable, abrasion resistant shell mitt is constructed of 2-ply Gore-Tex® and seam sealed for full waterproof protection. This prevents the insulation from wetting out, ensuring warm, dry comfort in even the harshest cold, wet-weather environments. The palms are constructed of water-repellent goatskin for durable wet-weather performance, keeping the leather soft and supple after repeated exposure to moisture. 170 g lofted polyester insulation lines the back of the hand to provide warmth without hindering dexterity on the palm side.
Features include a 360 elasticized wrist to comfortably seal in warmth and provide a secure fit, an extended gauntlet with 1/8” elasticized cord/barrel-lock adjustment to seal out the elements when used with any clothing system, and an adjustable flat lanyard (“idiot cord”), ¼” width, attached to the gauntlet hem to prevent loss of one or both mitts. Both the gauntlet adjustment and lanyard can be effectively operated with one hand while wearing mitts. Mini-clips sewn onto the gauntlet allow the gloves to be clipped together while not in use.
